Perhaps a story of love at first sight, Ryan and Josiah met at a party in San Antonio Texas and have been inseparable ever since. After Ryan proposed exactly three years after the day they met, they couldn’t wait to start planning their new life together. When it came to planning a wedding, they knew most of their friends and family would have to travel, so they decided ‘why not have everyone travel somewhere wonderful?!’ The Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa checked every box for them: family-friendly and adults-only accommodations, stunning pools, delicious dining options and customizable wedding packages.
To commemorate their destination wedding in Mexico, Ryan and Josiah enclosed a bottle of tequila in a personalized box labeled with the precise coordinates of their ceremony, which they plan to open and enjoy on their first anniversary. When asked what the most memorable moment of the night was, they recall surprising their guests with a choreographed dance to Michael Buble’s Feeling Good. “Seeing everyone’s reactions to our killer dance moves and the surprise fireworks at the end was the icing on the cake!”
On top of the wedding day memories, Ryan and Josiah also enjoyed a fun excursion with guests, where they traveled 60 miles offshore to snorkel with whale sharks; an experience they will never forget.
Ryan and Josiah look forward to visiting another Grand Palladium Resort in Riviera Maya for their first anniversary (along with their ceremony tequila)!
