It all started with a mutual friend and ended with an incredible romance! Melissa and Marc’s love story begins with one of Marc’s former volleyball players introducing them to each other. After their first date, there was no denying that sparks were flying. Fast forward to their first romantic getaway in Punta Cana together, Marc told Melissa he was falling in love with her.
Melissa and Marc both share a mutual love for traveling, so they knew from the moment they got engaged that a destination wedding was in their plans.
For these travel enthusiasts, narrowing down a destination was a breeze. After a trip to Los Cabos in 2017, the couple knew it was a perfect fit for their dream wedding.
“It’s truly a magical destination,” says Melissa.
Since their friends had never been to Los Cabos either, it was a no-brainer where they wanted to say their “I dos!”
Going back to a place filled with memories was just the start of their wedding planning and it didn’t stop there. For their ceremony, they decided to write their own personal and funny vows and on their last night in paradise they took their entire group on a sunset cruise.
“It was the perfect way to wrap up the week and a thank you to everyone who attended,” says Melissa.
To sum up their destination wedding experience, Melissa and Marc describe it as “blissful, beautiful, beachy” and who doesn’t want that for their wedding!
