Planning a Destination Wedding - Travel Insurance

Most common quote heard...."I am going to my destination wedding no matter what! I don't need insurance".
Not a good idea brides-to-be! Better safe than sorry. Travel insurance basically covers you and your fiancé from loss when you travel. Any insurance gives you peace of mind, and you should consider taking out a travel insurance policy when planning a destination wedding. The two most important insurance considerations for you and your fiancé are:
1. Trip cancellation.
2. Trip interruption.
Trip cancellation is the most common form of insurance used and this gives you protection from the cancellation of your travel due to illness, injury, mechanical difficulties, or weather. Additionally, some companies also provide you with insurance in case an airline or travel company goes out of business. Trip interruption insurance reimburses you and your fiancé's costs if your trip is cut short for any unforeseen reason. Insurance rates vary, but I strongly suggest that everybody purchase travel insurance, because it is a small price to pay to protect your destination wedding investment.
