Trash the Dress, Take 2!

By Yasmin Bilimoria Dec 5, 2011 3:33:00 PM

We last blogged about “Trash the Dress” photo shoots way back in March 2010 and ever since, we have gotten a lot of pictures of our very own brides and grooms taking part in this fun affair. Just like any event, the ‘trash the dress’ photo shoot has gotten bigger and better over time. At first it was just the brides jumping in the water and getting a little silly, then we saw grooms being added to the mix, and before we knew it entire wedding parties were kicking off their shoes and getting wet! We also noticed that although the photo shoot is most popular on the beach, couples started moving towards swimming pools too. It just goes to show any combination of wedding dresses and jumping in water makes for a fun ‘trash the dress’ session, beach or not!

Below are some pictures from various past couples of ours. You can see what we’re talking about – from brides, to brides and grooms, to entire wedding parties! You can also see the sessions’ locations varying from the beach to the pool. Enjoy!

Over the past year we've seen the number of people involved and the location of the photo shoot change, but not much else. Brides, (and now grooms and wedding parties) continue to take the plunge into warm waters and essentially, trash their clothes! It’s all about getting in the water, having fun, and letting the photographer do the rest!
