Real Wedding: Tara & Michael in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Tara & Michael tied the knot at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family. Both the bride and groom have always been up for an adventure and love to travel, but a destination wedding seemed too good to be true, according to Tara. Well, with the help of their Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, Chrissy Janvier, they were able to make their vision come to life, exactly as they imagined it.

“The resort we chose allowed for so many opportunities for personalization. Everything from our boho-tropical florals, officiant, centerpieces, lighting, music choices and more – it was all personally chosen by us!”

When asked how they came to the decision of getting married in Cabo San Lucas, Tara says it was always on their bucket list. “Beach meets mountains meets low humidity…need I say more?!”

Tara and Michael hosted their rehearsal dinner on a boat the night before the wedding, where they took in incredible views, including the Arch of Cabo San Lucas (“El Arco”), indulged in delicious food and drinks, and danced the night away!

According to Tara, the most memorable moment of their destination wedding experience was when they exchanged their own vows in front of their favorite people – this was something they’ll cherish forever and never forget.

As for their biggest piece of advice to future couples planning a destination wedding? Tara says to either delegate or finish all the last minute to do’s before getting to your destination. And most importantly, “soak up every minute of the time you have with your favorite people in paradise!”
