The story of how you met/fell in love:
Chris and I met through our Greek affiliations of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. & Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. My sorority was a guest at an event that his chapter was hosting. Chris said he spotted me across the room and instantly fell in love with me. For him, it was love at first sight. For me, all it took was a couple of dates to see how special of a guy he was and I knew that I couldn’t let him get away. I was smitten by him.

Our Destination Wedding Specialist, Shelley Keeney, was very instrumental in our selection.
How did you personalize your ceremony and reception?
Personalized vows, sand ceremony and jumping the broom
The funniest or most unusual moment was when…
While it is not a funny or unusual moment, we have a “thing” that we do regularly. We go to different places and have ice cream dates. We’ve traveled to many different places near where we live to have those dates. Well, when we found out there was an ice cream shop at our resort, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have an ice cream date in Punta Cana! Our ice cream dates are our way of having quality time and fun at the same time. It was great to know that we could sneak one in while at our destination wedding.
