COVID-19 Testing Policies: Hotels & Resorts

Updated 12/3/21

On December 2, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) amended its October 25, 2021 Order for all travelers 2 years of age and older entering the United States. This Amended Order is effective on December 6, 2021 at 12:01am EST, and states that all air passengers (2 years of age or older), regardless of vaccination status boarding any aircraft destined to the United States from a foreign country are required to show a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight.

  • If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 calendar days before the flight’s departure and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or public health official stating that you were cleared for travel.

For full details and FAQs regarding this new CDC requirement, please visit the CDC website.

To ensure you are able to meet the CDC’s new in-destination testing requirement, most resorts are offering onsite COVID-19 antigen tests for free or at a nominal cost.  Please see below to find information regarding testing at your resort.

To quickly find your hotel, hold down the CTR and F keys simultaneously on your PC keyboard, (command and F on a Mac) and type the resort name into the search box that appears.

Also, please note: you will not be allowed to board the plane if anything on your negative test document is incorrect, incomplete or not printed correctly. As such, please ensure the following:

  • Your exact name as it shows on your passport, passport number and nationality are noted correctly on your negative test.
  • You review these details when you receive your negative test, while still at the resort/medical facility – and get it changed, if needed, prior to departure.
  • Your document doesn’t have your name or other information handwritten, everything should be typed out.
