One of the most challenging parts of Hawaii weddings is knowing what to pack. Like any destination wedding, you never know what to expect and what you may need when it comes to the wedding. Even more of a challenge is if you will be staying in Hawaii for quite some time and spending the honeymoon there as well. Here are some tips for brides when it comes to packing for Hawaii weddings.
The best thing that you can for packing for Hawaii weddings is to start making a list of everything that you will need at least a few weeks before you have to actually start packing. Think of the things that you use on a daily basis and write them down. Then, think of the special things that you will need for your wedding such as undergarments, makeup, jewelry, and shoes and write those down as well. Do not forget to write down your wedding dress as you may be surprised at just how many times a dress gets left behind in the chaos.
Be sure to pack plenty of comfortable clothes as depending on when you will be visiting Hawaii, the weather can be pretty hot. Pack cotton sundresses, shorts, tank tops, bathing suits, and t-shirts. Also, be sure to bring a pair of comfortable tennis shoes as many people find that walking around in sandals and flip flops do a number on their feet.
Try to pack your special wedding items in a different area or suitcase then your day-to-day items. This way you don't have to worry about trying to find them on the day of the wedding and having to dig through your suitcase and waste time.
Lastly, remember your technology such as your cell phone and camera. You may also choose to bring your lap top if you want to send people back home pictures of your wedding.
The best way to pack for Hawaii weddings is to be organized and plan far enough ahead that you are not rushing to pack at the last minute.
