Wedding cakes are one of the major things that brides like to get just right when planning their wedding. Some brides are quite choosy and take a great effort in choosing just the right wedding cake. Hawaii weddings can have all kinds of different wedding cakes from simple to more extravagant. Here are some wedding cake ideas for Hawaii weddings to get your mind thinking about what you want in your wedding cake.

A great wedding cake idea for Hawaii weddings is to utilize the beautiful flowers of cake for hawaii weddingsHawaii. Have your cake frosted with plain white frosting or fondant and then decorate it with flowers like orchards, hibiscus, or plumeria. These flowers offer the brightly-colored features to make the cake look like it fits in perfect with the scenery and nature of Hawaii.

Another idea is to decorate your wedding cake with a few small seashells. If you have a layered cake you place some small seashells on the outer edges of the layers and then around the base of the cake. Place a flower or wedding cake topper on the top to complete the look of the cake. These seashells can be real or fake if you want.

A unique idea for wedding cakes for Hawaii weddings is to place tropical fruit as the decoration of the cake. Fruit like pineapple and melons can be cut into different shapes and then placed on the cake in a pattern or just a few pieces here and there. This can also be incorporated with Hawaiian flowers as well.

If you want a less traditional-type wedding cake, you can always have a Hawaiian scene as your wedding cake. This could include your cake shaped like a volcano and the bride and groom sitting on top of it. Another idea would be a cake in the shape of the island with the exact land features and landmarks. You can get really creative with these types of cakes.

What a wedding cake will look like for Hawaii weddings all depends on what style of wedding you are going for.
