Thank you so much for your post!! We are getting married at Breezes on February 7, 2009. I have been getting nervous because I couldnt find many posts on this resort. I am relieved to hear nice things!
Thanks again!!
Were there a lot of add-on fees for your reception? Per Person for liquor? Buffet or sit-down? How many guests? Do you recommend? We're considering for our wedding and are grateful for any input. Thanks!
Hi Nancy,
Not a lot of add-on fees for the reception I think it was just one per-person fee, depending on the menu you choose. I think we ended up in the $50-$60/pp range. It was a sit down dinner with a dancefloor and dj. They have a really great reception spot that has windows overlooking the water (not right on the water). And there is a patio that wraps around it that you can do out on for a better view. We had a cocktail party out there prior to the reception, and that's where the bar was setup. There was a charge for the bar, but I can't remember the specifics. It was reasonable though. I had 50 guests and they all had an incredible time, and I personally highly recommend the resort as a good middle of the road all-inclusive property.

We are getting married there Oct 16 (hopefully no hurricanes that week!) Did you like your pictures, did you have video?
Hi Nicole,
Wow, you must be getting excited...it's coming up! We loved our photos - the photographer that came with the resort package was really great. I would recommend upgrading the photos (I think it originally only had a small amount, or it may have been time-based) Either way it was my wife's idea, and a good one. We didn't get video, but I would assume they would do an equally great job. We had an amateur videographer on our guest list who did a good job of covering it for us. Best of luck!

Thanks so much for your reply. I am trying to speak with the couple that does the wedding video there. Wish I had someone to do video, but our party is just us and our two teen sons :o)
i'm planning my wedding in the bahamas too. but i cant decide a resort! what about viva wyndham? sandals? riu? what made you choose this resort??
thanks and congrats!!
Hi Shary,
Sandals was too expensive for us, plus we had seceral singles coming. We really loved the beach at Breezes, and the fact that they had the gazebo on the beach - it was a really great spot. At the end of the day it was a combination of great price, a ton of activities there (incuding a flying trapeze that some of our crazier guests had a blast on), great beach, and great wedding location. Just an overall great fit.
