Back in January, we launched a new and exciting Valentine’s Day Contest on Facebook, in which one lucky couple would win an amazing honeymoon at Sandals Grand Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.  We asked couples to submit their engagement stories in 500 words or less, and over 100 couples did so! Entries closed in the first week of February and voting opened. Thousands of votes were cast and we announced the winning couple on Facebook!

With hundreds and hundreds of votes, Heather and Chris’ engagement story, entitled ‘So I’m Marrying a Romantic,’ won!!! Congratulations to them and thank you to everyone who entered our Valentine’s Day Contest. Below is the winning engagement story Heather and Chris submitted, how cute!

"Chris is a true romantic and his proposal was just that. He made Valentine’s Day arrangements but played it off like it wasn’t anything big…until my parents came in with cameras and I saw the limo! He led me out to the limo and inside was wine, roses and chocolate covered strawberries. We set off for Boston and on the way he got down on one knee and made a beautiful proposal, followed by dinner at a hidden restaurant. I felt like a celebrity”
